Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh has written some of my favorite books full of poetic reminders about how to find joy in every moment of our lives. So I’m very excited that he’s coming to Hong Kong in May for a series of talks and retreats. This 80-year-old Vietnamese Buddhist monk is one of the most influential Buddhist spiritual leaders in the world.  His lifelong efforts to generate peace and reconciliation moved Martin Luther King, Jr. to nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1967. He was also honoured in TIME magazine’s 60 Years of Asian Heroes in 2006.

When & Where: May 11 to 18, various times and venues
How much: Talks are free, retreats are very reasonable
