Remove Barriers to Change – Emotional Integration Sessions
Is emotional reactivity blocking you from your highest potential as a leader? Do your reactions stop you changing or improving?
Many people find themselves unable to perform well in specific circumstances, even with comprehensive learning and practice. They may find it very difficult to listen, delegate, set priorities, speak calmly, make decisions, and a hundred other specific behaviours that rest on emotional abilities.
Why? Despite our best intentions, sometimes our emotions take over. Emotional reactions are initiated through very fast-moving non-cognitive channels. We can find ourselves angry, frozen, shaking or giving up, even when we know those are terrible choices.
The good news is that we can reprogram these everyday emotional reactions using safe, effective methods that I can guide you through. For most of us, it’s a relatively fast process which lasts a lifetime. And once you know how to do it, you can continue to integrate more of your emotions so that they don’t block you anymore.
Integrating your emotions means you won’t get triggered, and it also opens up new possibilities for emotionally intelligent leadership and more choices in life.
Let’s talk. I’ll listen to understand your situation and needs, and describe what I recommend for your situation and expectations.

My Coaching Approach
My coaching approach draws from many different sources collected over decades of experience working with leaders in Hong Kong and around the world. I have a particular interest in helping people release emotional reactions because they are so often the critical blocks in personal potential.
I am dedicated to continuously improving my capacity to be with you as a calm, clear, wise, supportive presence. I do that through my personal practices of meditation, relational mindfulness (Insight Dialogue) and emotional co-regulation.
I offer Emotional Integration coaching in 2 session sets, either in-person or by video call. Let’s talk.
Sample Emotional Integration Results
Nerves in Every Day Meetings
An experienced manager was frustrated with himself because he couldn’t control his nervousness, even in meetings that he attended every week.
In our first in-person coaching session, we explored the feelings of nervousness and touched into their source. He was much more aware of what was going on inside and felt some immediate relief. He left the session with some methods to practice.
In the follow-up session, he reported significant improvement. He completed a total of 4 sessions, strengthening his daily and weekly practices and continuing to increase his capacity to stay calm under pressure.
Not Able to Speak Up
A C-level manager in a technical role realized that she was unable to speak openly in senior committee meetings when she sensed there was conflict. Her missing communication meant that she could not properly defend her needs for her department and she came across as weaker than she really was.
In a single session, we explored the deep feelings that came up under that particular kind of pressure.
in a follow up session, she realized that she had already changed. She had been able to speak up fluently and easily in contradiction to her seniors without any hesitation or preparation.
Anger and Frustration
A Division Manager of a consumer products company had lost motivation after a radical downturn in his industry. He was considering quitting, but wasn’t sure what was next for him. His anger and frustration at the unfairness of his situation was keeping him stuck.
As part of a longer coaching program, we spent one session fully feeling and integrating those emotions.
After releasing his anger, he shifted back to his more usual enthusiastic style. With the return of his positive energy, he was able to lead the transformation of his division, initiating a new strategic approach to the business.
