What if you knew that the economic, social and ecological systems that we live in are rapidly disintegrating? How would you respond?
What would it mean to be happy and fulfilled in this new world?
This series of small group sessions will support you to address these provocative questions. We will be supported by the safe, confidential, accepting social space of relational mindfulness and emotional co-regulation held by the facilitator Angela and our mutual intention. Inspired by the book Hospicing Modernity by Vanessa Machado de Oliveira, we will gently feel into what’s true for each of us and express our own responses.
We will emphasize deep listening without questions or advice for each other. We will be holding space for one person at a time to express themselves relating to their perceptions, sensations, emotions and thoughts on the question or prompt.

The Facilitator Angela Spaxman
Building on more than 25 years years of experience as a leadership and career coach, I have been continuously seeking ways to transform myself and others. Since 2019, inspired by many teachers and courses, I have been integrating relational mindfulness and emotional co-regulation into my work. I am a recognized facilitator of the Buddhist practice of Insight Dialogue. I have run hundreds of sessions of relational mindfulness with small groups, both online and in-person and have been practicing myself at least twice weekly over that same period. I am dedicated to continuously improving my capacity to be with my clients as a calm, clear, wise, supportive presence. I do that through continuous personal practices of meditation, relational mindfulness and emotional co-regulation.
